Hornets travelled down the A30 to Hayle and in horrible conditions managed to pick up a bonus point victory. Hayle have been struggling this season, but they started the game stronger and threatened the hornets line, however the hornets defence was stout throughout and Hayle were unable to cross the whitewash.
Hornets, despite the conditions, were playing with plenty of width, and the handling was excellent. Both backs and forwards were making inroads into the defence, most notably Alex Sheldon and Dylan Messenger. The hornets pack was able to get on top of their counterparts and tries were scored by each of the front five, with Matt Bosley adding one out wide for the backs. Hayle never gave up fight and the hornets players were pleased to come away with a good victory.
